Der Deutschland-Achter musste beim 10. E.ON Hanse Cup in Rendsburg die erste Niederlage seit Olympia 2008 hinnehmen. Die Briten gewannen zum ersten Mal das längste und härteste Ruderrennen der Welt.

Umfassendes NDR Rahmenprogramm beim 10. E.ON Hanse Cup

Sport und Party - diese Kombination bietet das größte Ruder-Event des Nordens. Zum zehnten Mal ist Rendsburg der Schauplatz des E.ON Hanse-Cups. Drei Tage, vom 27. bis 29. August 2010, stehen spannende Ruderwettkämpfe im Kreishafen und auf dem Nord-Ostsee-Kanal zur Entscheidung an. Begleitet werden die Wettkämpfe von einem großen Volksfest. Die NDR 1 Welle Nord und das Schleswig-Holstein Magazin präsentieren an allen Tagen ein tolles Partyprogramm.

    E.ON Hanse Cup 2009 in Rendsburg

Sportive highlight and fun for the whole family

Every year the Kiel Canal will be venue of a unique event: E.ON Hanse Cup. International men's eights will be competing in the hardest and toughest rowing race worldwide. The distance will be 12.7 km (7.9 miles), starting near the small village of Breiholz. The finishing line is right under Rendsburg's famous landmark, the cast iron railway bridge.

Right below the "iron-lady" and in the Rendsburg harbour area, energy supplier E.ON Hanse AG as the main-sponsor and the organizing company Canal-Cup Projekt GmbH will be presenting a fascinating atmosphere with top sports, live music and first class food and beverages.
